About Us

We are a group of self-employed goal-getters who are fed up with the romanticized point of view that working for yourself gets. Don’t get us wrong, we love what we do – marketing and business consultations – but there are cons with the pros.

3 young entrepreneurs researching marketing tactics.

We’re here to talk about lessons we learned from our experiences of over 15 years. You’ll find topics on:

  • How to handle losing clients. This may seem irrelevant to your business but we’re people and we have emotions. Many of our decisions are based on positive and negative feelings. If you and your team members don’t gain composure, you risk acting in crisis-mode and make next moves from a place of panic, rather than strategy.
  • Planning your finances quarterly. When we’re beginner adults our debt-to-income ratio is small enough to manage month-to-month. When we’re in business, it’s a whole new ball game. Gone are the employers who handle your payroll taxes. This is on you now.
  • Whether social media is worth your marketing budget. Social media can benefit you, but it can also be a waste of time. You’ll want to assess whether your business would excel or get set back before opening several profiles.

Villaneri is the cozy place that sheds light on the highs and lows of owning a business. We are not here to cause discouragement, but to help you find comfort and joy behind intimidating challenges. All businesses go through trials and tribulations.

Our mission is to help small-business owners gain peace-of-mind as they trek through the journey of their business endeavors so that they may keep serving others.

Our values are in support of those who are doing the good work. We value anyone who decides to offer a service or product to others in need. We respect human kindness in using personal skills that make lives better.

What Brought Us Here

At the beginning of our journey, we sought help from people who have walked farther than us. It is said to excel in business you need a mentor. We do agree with that, but you can learn as much as you can on your own, too. Some people we talked to seemed to fit our characters and we fell for their promising advertisements. We saved our money to invest in them. When it came time to have a private conversation, it was like they became a different person – rather unwelcoming and quite discouraging. You don’t want to work with these people. And many you contact can be arrogant, pointing out everything you’re doing wrong and how awesome they are.

We want this to be a platform where you can find help and not have to pay a dime. You deserve to have someone who knows what it’s like to be in your shoes.

With that, we hope you find comfort here at Villaneri and find your own light from within.

Let’s walk these miles together.
